Girlgroup KARA member Nicole’s ‘bare face’ revealed has garnered much interests from netizens.

Nicole had appeared with no-make on SBS variety program ‘My Partner’ aired on 28th May, talking about the topic of exercising with MC Nam HeeSeok. And Nicole was seen shy with no makeup on, and her hands were covering her face many times during the filming. She was also seen wearing a cap, much under-dressed as compared to her usual features performing on stage.

Netizens’ comments to seeing her ‘bare face’ are, “She looks like actress Yoo HaeJin”, “Nicole looks like the 2nd-generation to Yoo HaeJin and Kim HyeSoo” while there are some who commented, “Nicole is one of the stars whose bare face should not be revealed” etc.

Fans seemed to be unhappy with the reveal of Nicole’s bare face on the show. It seems that Nicole was thrown off guard with the sudden show up of the filming team for the filming, and she was seen with no makeup. And she had seemed flustered about it that she kept on covering her face during the filming, and to make things worse, the camera had did close-up on her face during the filming.

Nichkhun Kisses Kang Hodong

2PM Nichkhun was involved in a rather peculiar kiss scene with gagman Kang Hodong.

On an episode of SBS Star King aired on the 29th, 2PM Nichkhun held a push up battle against a wrestler from Ohio, America.
Despite the wrestler, Dustin Pal, having no legs, Nichkhun placed him on top of his body and attempted to do push ups, surprising MC Kang Hodong. Kang Hodong, wanting to try it himself, attempted to do push ups with Nichkhun on top of him.

However, Kang Hodong’s arm gave out and was unable to hold Nichkhun up. Nichkhun’s face fell on top of Kang Hodong’s face, creating a scene similar to SBS’s weekend drama, ‘Life is Beautiful.’
Weird background music began to play as the two posed as if they were truly about to kiss. Panelists became surprised and ran over to Nichkhun and Kang Hodong but Nichkhun merely looked up and smiled as the caption “Sorry we couldn’t protect you” scrolled across the screen.

Heechul Likes Cat Butts & He Can’t Lie

Once again, Super Junior’s Heechul has not failed to entertain us all. In the most recent pictures uploaded by Heechul, he admitted to the world that he likes butts… cats’ butts, that is!

On May 2nd, more photos of Heechul from his SBS radio show, Kim Heechul’s Young Street, surfaced online.
In the pictures, you can see Heechul in a striped cat hoodie, holding up a cat figurine. He is seen kissing the cat tenderly in a rather inappropriate area!
Netizens are also comparing his doll-like resemblance to the cat, saying “When he closes his eyes, he’s a doll, and when he closes them, he’s a prankster”, “Heechul the cat”, “Out of all the places to kiss..” and other witty comments.

Heechul Likes Playing With Ghosts

On the 29th, a picture of Kim Heechul playing with a ghost was uploaded onto his radio’s website photo album.

Heechul is shown posing next to a look-a-like ghost on the set of his radio show, Young Street.

A representative of the radio station stated, “While talking about getting scissor-locks, Heechul suddenly got into the whole ghost thing. He asked for a picture with a ghost photoshopped in. He asked for a picture of him holding the ghost’s neck, but I couldn’t find a picture of a ghost with its neck being choked, so I just did whatever.”

Netizens who saw this picture commented, “Seriously the best 4-D alien,” “Never a dull day with Heechul,” “The ghost’s facial expression is the best.”

SNSD Chosen as Korea’s Best Pop Girl-Group

So Nyeo Shi Dae has been chosen as Korea’s best ‘pop girl group’.

Neo Bob did a survey amongst 541 people from 10th till 28th May on ‘Which is the leading pop girl group for mass culture?’ and the results show So Nyeo Shi Dae at #1 with 38.2% of the votes. Groups Wonder Girls and KARA are at #2 and #3 position on the survey results with 35.6% and 23.4% of the votes.

Shin Jae Kyu representative of Neo Bob said, “By ‘pop girl’ we are talking about the leader of trends amongst the new generation females. Through this survey, we got to know how much of such an influence So Nyeo Shi Dae, Wonder Girls and KARA have on their fans. So Nyeo Shi Dae, who is at #1, are not only leading in terms of their albums, but also in terms of various genres like CF appearances and corporate sales. So Nyeo Shi Dae is representative pop girl group who inspires the 3040 ‘uncle’ fans.”

Flo Rida Praises G-Dragon, “He’s a Friend Who Has That American Influence”

American rapper Flo Rida praises Big Bang G Dragon.

Flo Rida had an interview with Mnet ‘Pop Corn’ recently when he said, “Just coming here to work with G-Dragon was definitely something big.”

Flo Rida had his concert performance in Seoul on 21st and 22nd May. And there was great interests when it was announced that G Dragon is invited as special guest appearance. The 2 had performed G Dragon’s song ‘Heart Breaker’ which features Flo Rida.

Flo Rida said, “It showed me that he has that American influence and also used some American and Korean lyrics. I’m a fan of G-Dragon.”
He added, “Because of the great love that my Korean fans give me, I would want to come back to Korea again.”
